Created by Felipe Hess and Renata Pedrosa in the year 2008-09, the apartment is located in São Paulo in Brazil, the apartment area covers around 140 square meters. Basic objective of the project was turning the 140 square meter apartment with original division into contemporary loft with fluids and communicable open spaces. Original divisions included three bedrooms, living room, kitchen and laundry. Apartment in the original Oscar Niemeyer was demolished remaining only columns and shafts with determination of new divisions.
A central block was also built that separated inmates from the social area. Facing intimate area the block houses linen as well as closets. Facing the social area, there is a kitchen as well as concrete shelf that works as bench that contains the owner’s memorabilia. Such memorabilia ranges from music to arts and awards in Cannes owning the advertising agency where he works.
To top it all, there is an island made with concrete that works as both bar and dining table.
